Killdren respond after having Glastonbury set pulled due to "Kill Tory Scum" song
Killdren have responded to Glastonbury cancelling their upcoming performance at the festival due to their "Kill Tory Scum" song.
Yesterday (2 June), Glastonbury's Shangri-La account uploaded a statement detailing the cancellation of Killdren's performance.
Shangri-La said it was "incredibly saddened that the attention this booking has received has caused such upset and negativity towards such a peaceful festival we are so proud to be a part of."
The statement added, "We in no way condone violence and will not allow this matter to overshadow the incredibly inclusive spirit of Glastonbury, and as a result we have taken the decision to withdraw the booking of this band."

Soon after, the "Kill Tory Scum" musicians replied to the cancellation of their Glastonbury performance on socials, urging people to "give the video a watch for facts about the real violence in society inflicted by Tory policies....!!"
As we have been pulled from the @ShangrilaGlasto @GlastoFest line-up for promoting violence - if you have been sucked into the "publicity", give the video a watch for facts about the real violence in society inflicted by Tory policies....!! https://t.co/OW0L1RgQwE

According to the BBC, Killdren's 2018 Boomtown set saw the group kick, punch, and spit at a man dressed in a suit, while wearing Kill Tory Scum clothing.
