Kickstarter campaign launched for 'American Psycho: The Musical'
A Kickstarter project has been launched to help fund an upcoming musical adaptation of Brett Easton Ellis’ controversial 1991 novel and Christian Bale-starring film of the same name, American Psycho.
The musical, adapted by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, composed by Duncan Sheik and directed by Rupert Goold, is planning on premiering at the Almeida Theatre in London this December, but needs the help of fans to fund itself.
The project currently has $13,404 pledged of its $150,000 goal, with 195 backers at the time of publishing. It has until Friday 24 May to reach its target.
