Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Sam Smith among BET Awards winners

Last night the BET (Black Entertainment Television) Awards took place, with Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé all scooping awards.
Smith took home the Best New Artist gong, while Minaj won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, and Bey claimed Best Female R&B Artist, as well as Video Of The Year ("7/11") and Best Video Director Of The Year.
Kendrick Lamar was crowned Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, while Stormzy took how the Best International Artist (UK) prize.
Janet Jackson was given the Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award. Jackson recently released her first official single in many years, "No Sleeep".
