Kanye West to perform at MTV VMA Awards later this month

Kanye West has a complicated relationship with the MTV VMA Awards, which is strange seeing as he’s set to hold the joint record for the most performances at the ceremony.
As Rolling Stone note, West has today been confirmed to perform Yeezus track ‘Black Skinhead’ at the event later this month, which will see him tie with Madonna for the VMA appearances ever.
The announcement was made by a brilliant croissant image posted by MTV on Instagram. Let’s just hope he doesn’t bump into one Taylor Swift at the buffet table…
The MTV VMAs will take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on 25 August.
