Kanye West steps back from politics to focus on creativity
Kanye West has revealed on Twitter that he'll be stepping back from politics and is "completely focusing on being creative".
The Chicago rapper only visited Donald Trump at The White House a few weeks ago, and has already decided to distance himself from politics.
In a string of Tweets, Kanye West revealed his "eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in."
Prior to declaring his distancing from politics, the rapper opened up on what he supports, "I support creating jobs and opportunities for people who need them the most, I support prison reform, I support common-sense gun laws that will make our world safer."

I support those who risk their lives to serve and protect us and I support holding people who misuse their power accountable.

I believe in love and compassion for people seeking asylum and parents who are fighting to protect their children from violence and war.
He went on to thank his family and surrounding peers for "supporting my ACTUAL beliefs and my vision for a better world."
Earlier this week Kanye West's name was attached to the designs for Blexit, which you can read more about over on The Independent. The campaign aims to persuade black Americans to quit the Democratic party. The rapper stated that leader Candace Owens used his name as the designer of the logo didn't want their own name attached. He added, "I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it."
I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.
