Kanye West requests "final edit and approval" on Netflix documentary Jeen-Yuhs
Kanye West, who is now legally known as Ye, has requested to have the "final edit and approval" on his upcoming Netflix documentary Jeen-Yuhs before it's released next month.
Following news that Netflix would stream Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy across three weeks from 16 February, Ye has shared an Instagram post this afternoon (21 January) asking to see, and approve, the final edit of the documentary that's been over 21 years in the making.
Ye wrote, "I’m going to say this kindly for the last time. I must get final edit and approval on this doc before it releases on Netflix. Open the edit room immediately so I can be in charge of my own image. Thank you in advance."

The documentary, directed by Coodie & Chike (who directed West's "Jesus Walks (Version 3)" and "Through the Wire" videos), is also due to get a US theater release on 10 February.
