Kanye West names new single 'I Am A God'
Internet rumours had been circulating last week that Kanye West was to name his new album I Am God, resulting in even the BBC running a piece on it. But now it turns out that the rapper’s upcoming full-length won’t be called that, but his next single will indeed be named the similiar ‘I Am A God’.
A source close to the hip-hop star revealed the news to Huffington Post, with the publication going on to say: “while everyone will have to wait for the actual song to parse the specifics of the song’s message, the source hinted that the idea was generally that all people are manifestations of a higher power.”
G.O.O.D Music man Malik Yusef also tweeted what seems to be confirmation about the story.
The record, not yet named or set a firm due date, will follow on from 2010′s brilliant My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
