Kanye West joins forces with French fashion label
Kanye West is working on a new collaboration on the catwalk.
The rapper’s latest venture in the world of fashion will see him design a small collection for, and with, Parisian fashion brand A.P.C – consisting of a pair of jeans, a hoodie and a t-shirt.
A recent W Magazine interview with West hinted on a collaboration for a capsule collection of menswear with a “hip French brand”. A.P.C then took to twitter with, “A.P.C. KANYE CAPSULE COLLECTION JULY 14″, which sealed the deal that they were working on with West. “Thank you Jean Touitou for letting me create with you”, responded Yeezy.
Both the rapper and brand’s websites feature an image of a pair of jeans with a red ‘A.P.C. KANYE’ label.
This will be West’s first step back into the world of fashion after the two badly-received collections that were produced under his KW label.
A.P.C. KANYE will be available from www.apc.fr at 10am on 14 July.
