Kanye West confirms Yeezy, Gap and Balenciaga collaboration
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has announced a new Yeezy x Gap collaboration with Balenciaga.
Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga is a new collaboration coming to Gap stores, and was created by Ye and Balenciaga’s creative director Demna Gvasalia.
Speaking to Vogue, Ye said of the collaboration, "It is a vision come true to work with Gap and Demna, the creative director of Balenciaga, to make incredible product available to everyone at all times."
Ye confirmed the news earlier today by sharing a screenshot of a section of the contract, which is signed by Gap, Yeezy and Balenciaga.

Vogue reports that the first Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection is scheduled for June, and a second drop is planned for later in 2022.
Gvasalia said, "There are very few people that I know, especially of Ye’s caliber, who really understand my work so well. He makes me come out of my comfort zone and be a better designer. There’s no ego when we collaborate, just a mutual drive to evolve and do something great and new."
