Kamasi Washington has shared "Truth", his first new music since 2015's debut LP The Epic and first since penning a deal with Young Turks (The xx, FKA twigs).
The 13-minute track is paired with visuals by director A.G. Rojas, which you can view above, and is the lead single from upcoming EP Harmony Of Difference.
"My hope is that witnessing the beautiful harmony created by merging different musical melodies will help people realize the beauty in our own differences," Washington explains of the project.
"Truth" originally debuted as part of a 37-minute suite by Washington at this year's Whitney Biennial, which is being exhibited until 11 June. Find out more.
The Harmony Of Difference EP is due out this summer via new label Young Turks.
