The livestreamed New Year's Eve event will take place on TikTok at 6pm PT (2am GMT), and according to Variety Kali Uchis, Rico Nasty and Charlie Puth will perform for the event, following their success on the app this year.

Uchis' "Telepatía" was the top Latin song of 2021 on the app, while Puth was one of the most-viewed artists on the platform. Rico Nasty also had a TikTok trend with her "Smack A Bitch" single from 2018.

Variety notes that each artist's performance will take place on a separate floor of the TikTok Towers - which is the stage area for the New Year's Eve event. Each of the spaces will be designed to suit the different artists.

Earlier this month Megan Thee Stallion topped TikTok's chart of artists with the most usage by catalogue for a second year in a row.

The New Year's Eve livestream party will take place on TikTok from 6pm PT on 31 December / 2am GMT 1 January 2022.
