Julian Casablancas contributes new track “Human Sadness” to new film She's Lost Control

The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas is widely expected to release a new solo album later this year. Before then however, he’s recorded a new song for an upcoming indie film.
She’s Lost Control will premiere at SXSW in Austin, Texas next month. This new track “Human Sadness” is a collaboration with composer Simon Taufique, with Casablancas adding backing vocals.
The singer’s rumoured album would be his second lone effort to date, following 2009′sPhrazes for the Young.
