Jon Hopkins collaborating with Wild Beasts frontman
With his new album out this week, electronic maestro Jon Hopkins has revealed another something exciting is on the way in the form of a collaborative track with Wild Beasts singer Hayden Thorpe.
Speaking in a recent interview to Clash, Hopkins said: “I’ve also done another collaborative track with Hayden Thorpe from Wild Beasts, which is coming out I think in July.”
The producer went on to reveal that the track in question is in fact a cover of ‘Goodbye Horses’ by Q Lazzarus and will feature on a reissue of said single.
“It’s the first time it’s been re-issued in about 20 years,” he continued. “We’ve done a really dark cover of that which we’re really proud of, actually.”
