JoJo takes a trip down memory lane as she re-records her first two albums
JoJo has re-recorded her first two albums from 2004 and 2006, and made them available on streaming sites just in time for Christmas.
Teen icon JoJo has revitalised her first two albums JoJo and The High Road, as well as releasing updated versions of singles "Disaster" and "Demonstrate".
The two albums arrive as an early festive treat, and also land on JoJo's birthday, as she revisits some of her biggest singles, including "Leave (Get Out)", "Too Little Too Late".
JoJo hinted at the project earlier this week in a phonecall with a friend that she later uploaded to Instagram. Although the project in question wasn't mentioned, she revealed to her friend that she was "approving a couple more of the masters".
Earlier this week the singer shared her festive cover of Mariah Carey's "Miss You Most (at Christmas Time)", which resulted in a seal of approval from Carey herself, "Thank you for this beautiful homage! I'm so happy you chose this song that not many people know. It's one of my favourite Christmas songs that i've written. Love!!! MC."
JoJo replied on her Instagram post, "crying in this dressing room. Thank you Queen. Thank You."
