Johnny Marr previews Fever Dreams Pt 3 with new cut "Night and Day"

Johnny Marr has delivered new single "Night and Day" as the first taster of his Fever Dreams Pt 3 EP.

Following the release of his Fever Dreams Pt 2 EP last month, Marr has kicked off the third Fever Dreams EP with "Night and Day", ahead of his Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 double album landing next month.

Speaking about the new single, which features backing vocals and bass from Primal Scream’s Simone Marie, Marr said, "I need songs after all the news, news, news. It gets too real in the hotspots."

The new album will follow 2018's Call the Comet, and was written and recorded at the Crazy Face Factory over the past year.

Fever Dreams Pt 1-4 was created with co-producer Doviak, bassist Iwan Gronow and drummer Jack Mitchell, and will also include backing vocals from Meredith Sheldon, and three songs will feature bass from Primal Scream’s Simone Marie.

"Night and Day" is out now. Johnny Marr's Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 double album will land via BMG on 25 February, and is available to pre-order now.
