John Newman's brother James shares UK Eurovision 2020 entry "My Last Breath"
James Newman - the brother of John Newman - is behind the UK's Eurovision 2020 entry "My Last Breath".
BBC Radio 1 and 2 premiered James Newman's Eurovision Song Contest 2020 entry this morning.
Newman's 2020 UK entry "My Last Breath" lands with a video directed by Charlie Lightening (Liam Gallagher, Jamiroquai) that stars Dutch athlete Wim Hoff.
James Newman (who is the brother of singer/songwriter John Newman) says of his Eurovision 2020 entry for the UK, "It’s such an honour to be representing the United Kingdom this year at Eurovision - I still can’t quite believe it! I’m also so proud to be taking "My Last Breath" as the song. I wrote it with some of my best friends, who are amazingly talented songwriters in their own right. I knew it was 'the one' after first recording it. I just loved the simplicity and universal message of the song."
