Whatever your views on John Lewis' ham-fisted festive adverts, the ones that've usurped Coca Cola's throne as harbingers of Christmas, it's hard to deny their success from a marketing perspective.
This year's spectacle has brought in Tom Odell to cover John Lennon's "Real Love". Perhaps slightly more timely than last year's track.
It features a CGI penguin longing for love.
