John Lennon poetry and artwork for sale at auction

Original artwork and poetry by late Beatle John Lennon is set to hit auction this week (5 June) at Sotheby’s in New York.
The collection features 89 pieces in all, including writing and drawings that were later used in Lennon’s books In His Own Write and A Spaniard in the Works.
The items are set to be sold individually, with asking prices ranging from $500 to $70,000. You can check out examples of the work beneath:
