Joey Bada$$ and Ab-Soul detained by police in St. Louis

Currently embarking on a co-tour together, rappers Joey Bada$$ and Ab-Soul were reportedly detained by police in St. Louis last night.
Despite early reports suggesting that the pair were arrested and held in custody, sources close to the musicians instead say that they were soon released. Joey’s DJ and associate, Statik Selektah has described the situation on Twitter as “typical police racism”.
Joey Bada$$ and Ab-Soul are supposed to play St Louis this evening, although no announcement has been made whether this will go ahead or not. The following photo has surfaced of the incident:
