Joanna Newsom has paid tribute to often-overlooked but enormously influential singer-songwriter Sandy Denny with this cover of her song ‘The North Star Grassman and the Ravens’.
The original track featured on Denny’s 1971 album of the same name, with this cover seeing the soon-to-be-wed Newsom in typically delicate form.
The cover, available to hear in the live video below, was recorded in connection with LA-based clothing label Wren.
