Joanna Newsom and Philip Glass have announced that they’re set to host a one-off event at San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre, a benefit organised for the Henry Miller Memorial Library.
On the night the pair will play a select few of each others’ best works as well as, wait for it, new collaborative material written between them both.
Will this lead to an entire album coming out from the two musician in the future? We can only hope. Or at least wish that some live recordings surface from it.
The Henry Miller library was founded in 1981 and is currently raising money to fund necessary construction. Info for the event is on the flyer above.
