JJ DOOM unveil video for unreleased track 'Bookhead'
Hip-hop duo, JJ DOOM’s unveil the full video for “Bookhead”, showing off DOOM’s custom mask; all a creation of multimedia artist and director, Steve ‘ESPO’ Powers.
In the video, DOOM toys with the concept of watching and being watched, trolling through a Bodega and empty library, dropping knowledge through the streets of London. “Bookhead” itself is a yet to be released cut off their forthcoming album, which DOOM hinted at earlier this year, teaming up with prolific producer, Clams Casino, for a breathy rework of the track.
JJ DOOM are set to release a ‘Butter Version’ of their 2012 album Keys To The Kuff, which will include three new tracks. The re-issue, set to drop later this year will also include remixes by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, Beck, and TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek.
