Jess Glynne claims she was "discriminated" against after being turned away from London restaurant
Jess Glynne has accused London restaurant Sexy Fish of "pure discrimination" after she was denied entry for wearing a hoodie.
The "One Touch" singer took to Instagram last night (6 July) to call out Sexy Fish restaurant in Mayfair, London, claiming she was turned away based on her attire.
Glynne wrote on her Instagram post, "Dear Sexy Fish London I turned up to your restaurant looking like this and you looked me and my friend up and down and said no you can’t come in and your restaurant was EMPTY. I then went to Amazonico London who greeted me and my friend with pure joy and we had a banging meal with wicked service."
She adds, "Sexy Fish please check yourself if this is how you treat people cause it’s rude, off putting, embarrassing and most definitely not inviting. We were made to wait and two members of staff came to look at us and make a decision based on our appearance. I think the attitude of your staff needs to change as that was pure discrimination. Thanks and bye."

The singer was dressed in a grey oversized hoodie, jogging bottoms, trainers and a black cap. Sexy Fish's dress code section on their site reads, "We request that guests do not wear sportswear, beachwear. ripped jeans, flip flops, sliders or workout trainers (smarter, fashion trainers may be permitted)."
Glynne's complaint hasn't been received well by fans, with many mocking her for not checking the dress code.

If anyone asks what privilege is, I’m just going to point them to Jess Glynne complaining she’s been discriminated against because she can’t wear a hoodie while eating £300 sushi in Mayfair. pic.twitter.com/FNUKGY8dnR

someone needs to tell jess glynne that... being turned away from a restaurant cos you’re wearing a hoody is not discrimination. pic.twitter.com/8GjPQlhpoK
