Jens Lekman’s songs are, for the most part, deeply personal and particular. This will all change soon, however, as he’s currently offering fans the chance to get tracks written about them for charity.
“Normally the subjects of my songs are reserved for those who come into my life through that strange path that fate is,” the Swedish singer says of the upcoming auction. ”But right now, for a short while, you can pay money to have me write a song about you.”
The money raised from the auction will go to help prevent maternal death, with Lekman also offering up dinner with him in Gothenburg or over Skype.
