Jenny Hval unveils new track "That Battle Is Over", announces UK tour dates
Jenny Hval has revealed a new track from upcoming LP Apocalypse, girl called "That Battle Is Over".
The Norwegian singer-songwriter has also announced an extensive set of tour dates, including support slots with St. Vincent and Perfume Genius.
Speaking about the track, Hval said: “‘That Battle Is Over’ is inspired by a great wish to sing karaoke. These songs are flat like that - they are so direct that there's no background. Trying to create one makes the song more shallow. Or worse - makes the listener obsolete."
Apocalypse, girl is out 8 June on Sacred Bones.
