Rather belated to the internet meme, Jeff Daniels‘ character Will McAvoy in hit U.S TV show The Newsroom bursts out with a rendition of Rebecca Black‘s one-hit blunder ‘Friday’.

We’ll forgive him for being a few summers late to the online party, he does portray an old media news anchor after all.
