Jay Z's 'Open Letter' to be released by Jack White as actual playable vinyl letter
Yesterday we reported that Jack White’s record label, Third Man Records, will be handling the vinyl release for Jay Z’s new album. Now it appears that things don’t stop there, with Hov’s ‘Open Letter’ coming out as a real playable vinyl letter via the imprint also.
Although it didn’t make the cut for Magna Carta Holy Grail, ‘Open Letter’ is currently being aired on SoundCloud and will soon be released in the unique format of a vinyl letter.
During his Hot 97 radio interview, Jay Z said: ”It’s in a letter… you can play the letter… it’s amazing… You open the letter, and you can actually play the card.”
Stream ‘Open Letter’ below, while we eagerly await for photos of said playback letter.
