Jay Electronica and Lil Silva feature on Paul Epworth's new single "Love Galaxy"
Acclaimed producer and songwriter Paul Epworth is back with new single "Love Galaxy", which features Jay Electronica and Lil Silva.
"Love Galaxy" is Epworth's first new single since last year's "Voyager", and sees him unite with rapper Jay Electronica and UK producer and singer/songwriter Lil Silva.
The new single also features backing vocals from Glass Animals' Dave Bayley.
He says of the new outing, "I was looking for something in the album that felt super familiar, a nostalgic record that feels like coming home. I knew I wanted it to sound like I’d sampled an early Jan Hammer record, something like Brian Bennett or Steve Miller Band’s cosmic funk, but chopped and screwed through a Dr Dre filter when he’s referenced records from a similar era."
Epworth's new single is also a glimpse of his forthcoming solo album VOYAGER, which is due for release later this year.
