Jarvis Cocker plays JARV IS material and Pulp's "His 'N' Hers" at debut End Of The Road set
Jarvis Cocker played his JARV IS material and revisited Pulp's "His 'N' Hers" at End Of The Road's Garden Stage for his debut music performance at the festival.
Cocker's headline set on the Garden Stage commenced with multiple tracks from his JARV IS project.
He joked with the crowd about how they must think he was terrible because tonight (1 September) was his long-awaited debut music set at End Of The Road. He revealed he's been returning to the festival for a decade, but has never performed music.
In the second half of Cocker's set he revisited Pulp's "His 'N' Hers" which was received with uncurbed applause from the crowd.
Before exiting the Garden Stage after performing for an hour-and-a-half, Cocker praised End Of The Road before dropping into a short a capella version of Boyz II Men's "End Of The Road" - a punny cover which was recited by the crowd at the top of their lungs before Cocker sang a verse about forgetting the lyrics.
