Japandroids in running to become NHL entrance music

Canadian noise-rock duo, Japandroids are among a number of artists attempting to become the new entrance music for NHL hockey team, Vancouver Canucks.
Japandroids, who are from Vancouver themselves, have their track ‘The House That Heaven Built’ from last year’s Celebration Rock in the running alongside the likes of Nickelback and Guns N Roses.
The winner will replace current entrance music, U2′s ‘Where The Streets Have No Name’, for the next two games.
