James Murphy and 2ManyDJs star in documentary about their 50,000-watt soundsystem

As previously reported, James Murphy has been keeping busy following his band’s split by developing an actual soundsystem. Now a mini-documentary film focusing on the project has emerged online.

The LCD Soundsystem frontman teamed up with 2manyDJs to build the whooper of a 50,000-watt, 11 foot speaker stack.

The Vinyl Factory spoke to the trio at this year’s Manchester International Festival, compiling footage from the interview and their launch show into the 7min clip.
