Jackson Browne shares new single "My Cleveland Heart" with video starring Phoebe Bridgers
Jackson Browne has released new single "My Cleveland Heart" from his upcoming album Downhill From Everywhere, and it's teamed with a video starring Phoebe Bridgers.
Browne's new single "My Cleveland Heart" is accompanied by news of his upcoming album Downhill From Everywhere, which will follow his 2014 album Standing in the Breach.
The new track is teamed with a Alissa Torvinen-directed video (director of Phoebe Bridgers' "I Know The End" video), which features a cameo from Bridgers herself.
According to Pitchfork, Torvinen said of the video, "What an honour to collaborate with Jackson. His creativity is inspiring, not solely in music, but in everything he puts his energy into. We came up with a script for the video very serendipitously, and Phoebe joining us was a wonderful surprise. The way she received Jackson’s heart and the shot of her watching from the wings… perfectly dark and poetic and Phoebe."
Browne and Bridgers have collaborated a couple of times previously; most recently Browne featured on a Spotify's Singles series version of her Punisher track "Kyoto".
