Jack White's Third Man Records collaborates with Beats by Dre for limited edition headphones
Beats by Dre has unveiled an all-new black-and-yellow version of the Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones exclusive to Third Man Records.
The limited edition headphones will cost $329.50 ($30 more than other Solo3 headphones sold by Apple) and are available for presale now at ThirdManRecords.com. They'll be available instore at Third Man Records in Nashville starting on 24 November 24, and will hit Apple.com on 6 December. That extra $30 gets you a custom carry case, a black-and-yellow braided cable matching the headphones, and an exclusive flexi-disc of The Raconteurs' "Level."
Country singer Margo Price is the face of the campaign, "conveying both company’s commitment to the craftsmanship that allows us to hear the music the way the artist intended."
Price, whose new record All American Made was released last month, says, "Music sounds better on vinyl — I think we can all agree on that. It makes total sense to me that my label home, Third Man Records, who cares so much about music sounding alive and warm, would align themselves with a company like Beats, who focuses on the listening experience and making sure you hear the tiniest details that make a record live, breath and evolve with every spin."
