Normally, you have to wait until a musician has passed for there to be a tribute album recorded in their honour. Unless you’re Daniel Johnston, that is. And now Jack White too.
The former White Stripes man is set to be the subject of upcoming compilation Rockin’ Legends Pay Tribute to Jack White, out 19 November and featuring a host of rockabilly acts.
Check out the album’s artwork beneath and listen to Wanda Jackson’s cover of The White Stripes’ “In the Cold, Cold Night” at Rolling Stone.
