Jack White is now Dr. White after accepting his honorary degree at Wayne State University in Detroit.
Detroit’s Wayne State University has given Jack White an honorary doctorate for his dedication to the city and his contributions to the arts.
Although he's based in Nashville, Jack White was born and raised in Detroit.

Dr. White's was awarded his honorary degree ahead of The Raconteurs' releasing their first album in over a decade.
