Jack White and Neil Young recording covers album together

Jack White never stops working, does he? Earlier this month the former White Stripes man revealed that he has two new albums coming. One, he said, was a solo record. Now the other looks like it could be a covers LP with Neil Young.

According to music journalist Michael Goldberg, the collaborative album will be released via White’s own Third Man Records. The tracklist could features covers of Bob Dylan and more.

The pair have performed live together in the past, most recently teaming up for a special Record Store Day release.
