Due to the disruption caused by the latest volcanic explosion in Iceland, we regret to inform that tonight’s Ja Ja Ja Metal night at The Lexington, as curated by Metal Hammers’ Alexander Milas, will unfortunately be cancelled.
It’s somewhat ironic that thr night of explosive Nordic rock should be stopped by…some explosive Nordic rock. Two of the three scheduled bands (Iceland’s Solstafir and Norway’s Vreid) cannot fly to the UK today.
Every eruption has a silver lining though and the good news is that Finnish veterans Thunderstone are already in London and have agreed to play a FREE SHOW at The Lexington! This show will not take the place of the Metal night, which we will attempt to reschedule asap; it is to be regarded as a bonus concert that everyone is welcome to attend, completely free of charge.
Those who have bought tickets will be able to retain them for the re-scheduled Metal night or will be able to apply for a refund. We’ll be back to you asap with more news on that front.
Doors open from 9pm.
