In The Woods festival to take a fallow year
In The Woods festival has announced it's to take a year out and return in 2016, refreshed, ready for their 10th birthday in 2016.
The team have released a statement to explain their reason for this fallow year, which you can read here:
"So there’s no easy way of telling you guys this, but after much deliberation we’ve decided that 2015 will be a fallow year for In The Woods. The reasons are, firstly, it felt like time to give the woods and our neighbours a well earned rest after 9 years on the trot, and secondly it gives us time to put our efforts into other exciting ITW projects that have been brewing in the background for a while. It was a difficult decision to make and we’ll miss the magic that you all create come festival time, but we’re sure it’s the right one.
And what happens next? Well, one thing is for sure - we’ll be pulling out all the stops in 2016 to celebrate our 10th anniversary! So put it in your diary now - you won’t want to miss it.
In the meantime there are the Barn Sessions from this year to look forward to, featuring the likes of Jack Garratt, Kate Tempest and Francobollo among many others, which will be coming out over the next few months - and before you know it we’ll be back with news of what’s been keeping us busy behind the scenes...
