IDLES have announced that they're providing 2,000 free tickets to their upcoming outdoor gig in Bristol to local NHS workers as "a gesture of our thanks" for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2,000 free tickets will be available to NHS workers in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, and will be for IDLES upcoming gig at Bristol’s Clifton Downs on 3 September.
IDLES wrote on Twitter, "We know it's not much, but it is a gesture of our thanks to you for your incredible work and selflessness over the last 18 months in treating and caring for people at the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic."
"We really hope to see you for an amazing day of music in September," the band continued. "If you work for the local NHS and have already purchased paid for tickets please contact enquiries@teamlove.org who will be happy to help transfer your tickets."
They added, "The full line-up for the day is unveiled tomorrow, Wednesday 28th July, and public tickets are on-sale again at the same time."
