Iceland Airwaves announce Great Escape 2012 showcase

You can only imagine how happy we are to announce that one of our favourite Nordic festivals, Iceland Airwaves, is putting on a mini-showcase at our beloved homegrown event, The Great Escape. Very damn happy, indeed.

The special one-off UK show will take place on the afternoon of 11 May at the Brighton weekender, with Iceland’s own Retro Stefson and Sykur being backed by Canadian threepiece Half Moon Run.

There will also be a raffle for the top prize of a trip for two to this year’s festival in Reykjavík.

Iceland Airwaves ’12 will take place from 31 October to 4 November. More details can be found at the Iceland Airwaves official website.
