
Iceland Airwaves announces first names for 20th anniversary edition

Iceland Airwaves has unveiled the first names for its 2018 edition, with Soccer Mommy, Superorganism, and Girl Ray leading the pack.
A tantalising list of homegrown and international names has been announced, with Tommy Cash, Sassy 009, Júníus Meyvant, Girlhood, Naaz, The Orielles, and Auður also among the acts confirmed for the Reykjavík-centred extravaganza's 20th anniversary.
Over 100 acts are set to be revealed in the coming months - last year's event featured performances by Mumford and Sons, Michael Kiwanuka, Fleet Foxes, Àsgeir, Torres, and lots more.
