Iceland Airwaves 2014 sells out
One of Europe's finest festivals, Iceland Airwaves 2014, has finally sold out.
A statement from the festival says:
"We are proud to announce that this year's festival has sold out! Thank you everyone for your continued support, and thank you to this year’s artists for making our lineup unforgettable. There still remain a few Icelandair packages, but they won’t be around for long. We look forward to seeing your beautiful faces in Reykjavik!"
Iceland Airwaves 2014 will feature over 200 artists performing in Reykjavík from 5-9 November, including Flaming Lips, The Knife (in both their first ever Icelandic show and, tragically, last ever show), The War on Drugs, as well as Caribou and Future Islands over on Best Fit's stage at the Art Musem. The festival is a true champion of new music, be that Icelandic, Scandinavian, European or worldwide.
