Hudson Mohawke showcases the beat Drake rejected from Nothing Was The Same

Hudson Mohawke has aired the full track of “Power Ruby”, a beat that got rejected when offered to Drake for use on his latest album Nothing Was The Same.

Although a snippet of the cut has been available online for the past twelve months, Hud Mo finally revealed the entire thing when soundtracking a Chanel fashion show recently.

“Trivia: that beat was originally gonna be on NWTS too in the early stages, made in 2010 or something,” the producer wrote on Twitter.
