Indiana quartet Hoops have announced their debut EP, and shared its deliciously lo-fi lead single "Cool 2".
The short-player is self-recorded, self-produced, and self-mixed, and will be released via their new label Fat Possum on CD and limited edition "coke clear" vinyl.
"Cool 2" is a delightfully breezy first taste, with woozy guitars draped across distorted vocals and crisp percussion. It's delirious and cloaked in mist, but it's a direct offering with pure emotion.
The Hoops EP is out 26 August via Fat Possum.
Have a listen to "Cool 2" below. The EP's tracklist can be found after.
Tracklist:
1. Cool 2
2. Yeah
3. Going Strong
