Music retailer hmv have announced that they'll be reopening over 90 stores in England from next Monday (15 June).
As coronavirus lockdown restrictions start easing in England, hmv has announced that 93 stores in England and Northern Ireland will reopen from 15 June.
hmv will introduce new measures to encourage public safety in light of the pandemic when they open next week, including installing hand sanitiser stations, quarantining returned products for 72 hours, screens at till points, two-metre floor markings to enforce social distancing, and new personal shopping services.
We are really looking forward to welcoming you back through our doors!

The personal shopping services include List and Leave and Ring and Reserve. List and Leave allows shoppers to drop off a list of items at a store and have a member of the hmv team retrieve, and pack the items ready for collection. The Ring and Reserve service provides people with the option to ring a local store and reserve in-stock items before paying and picking the items up later that day.
hmv owner Doug Putman says, "Our teams have been working on plans to reopen since the day we had to close our doors. We’ve redesigned our store layouts so that customers can make their way through the stores, buy what they want and pay seamlessly, while maintaining spaces for those who want to browse while maintaining social distancing."
Putman adds, "We’ve sought to keep as much of what people love about the hmv and Fopp experience intact and build on the experience whilst ensuring that customers can shop with us comfortably and confidently."
