Troubled music chain, HMV have confirmed the sale of all of their stores in the Asian market.
The eight shops in total, including two in Singapore and four based in Hong Kong, have been sold to AID Partners Capital Ltd.
The buyers have also acquired the rights to use the HMV brand in China, Macau and Taiwan.
This follows reports earlier today that UK supermarket Morrisons have purchased six of HMV’s closed shops.
