Hinds almost miss their End of the Road slot but bring the Sunday sun
"Hi,we're Rihanna and we're here to shine bright!"
Hinds may have been joking but as the sun shone on the final day of End of the Road the Spanish foursome must have felt right at home in the rising temperatures at End of the Road.
Explaining that they had almost missed their slot, Ana Perrote told the audience that thanks to rental car issues they almost missed their flight from Ireland to the festival but now they were here the travel chaos was "totally worth it".
The sunshine helps, sure, but even if it was pouring rain the songs now collected on The Very Best of Hinds So Far would bring a smile to the face of the most miserable of festival attendees. How could you not enjoy their delightfully ramshackle take on "Davy Crockett"?
Hinds may be a Sunday afternoon slot band right now,but if they return for End of the Road '16 surely they can't be far off closing the Woods stage.
