Here's the first trailer for Nick Cave's film One More Time With Feeling
You can now watch the intense first trailer for One More Time With Feeling, the upcoming film from Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.
The one-and-a-half minute clip features Cave narrating over black and white shots of himself and other musicians in the studio. The trailer features new music in the form of haunting strings.
The film is premiering at this year's Venice Film Festival. This showing will be the first time that anyone can hear music from upcoming record Skeleton Tree, as Cave & Co. won't be releasing singles before it comes out in September.
The film, originally based around performance, evolved during production to become "something much more significant" that looks at the "tragic backdrop of the writing and recording of the album." As welll as live footage of the new album being performed will be "Cave’s intermittent narration and improvised rumination." It's filmed in black and white as well as colour, and in 2D and 3D.
One More Time With Feeling will be in cinemas (in 2D and 3D) from 8 September. New album Skeleton Tree is released on 9 September.
