Al Pacino is set to star as the lead role in an upcoming TV movie based on the life of ‘Wall of Sound’ producer, Phil Spector.
The biopic, made by HBO and entitled simply Phil Spector, is set to air on 24 March – following on from the cable network’s Beyonce documentary which premieres this month.
It’ll feature a dramatisation of the music icon’s life, which saw Spector work with the likes of John Lennon, The Ronettes, The Righteous Brothers, Tina Turner and more.
Spector was later jailed in 2009 for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
