Has Frank Ocean's magazine leak explained the album delay?
Fans don't cry - Frank Ocean's newest album may not have been released on 5 August as we all expected, but pages from the accompanying magazine also called Boys Don't Cry have apparently leaked online.
When the album was announced last year, Ocean also announced a magazine to be published alongside it and posted a picture of the magazine online. Pages of the magazine have been posted online with fans claiming that the magazine will actually be a digital publication via Apple.
With the 5 August deadline having passed, fan theories as to the real deadline for Ocean's newest album Boys Don't Cry are emerging thick and fast.
Following a live stream of an empty room and a whole lot of viral hysteria, Ocean's album was expected to have been released imminently. Fans are now claiming that the album will be released in November instead after analysing a library style due date card with multiple dates stamped on it which was posted on Ocean's website in July. As Fuse noted, there is one date that is yet to pass on this card - 13 November 2016.
